Hello community, I am using Lightburn v1.4.05 on my Gweike Cloud pro II. Everything works ok, but when doing the “Material Test” the laser does not fire at less than 20% power, regardless of the speed.
Where can I modify the minimum power in Lightburn, so that the laser is activated with a value less than 20% power?
This is a quirky limitation of the Ionized CO2 in a laser tube.
Solid state diode lasers can be turned down to almost zero but the CO2 lasers are like a Neon sign. The First 20% of the power range (10,000- 20,000 Volts) is consumed to get the laser started.
