Dot width correction explanation

Hi,

I am not fully understanding this settings, so I would like to ask for explanation. I have an Neje A40640 module, my dot width is smaller than the height, the dimensions is about 0,10x0,15mm. As I understand this setting is usefull, when your dot width is larger than your dot height. What happening in this case, when the height is larger than the width? What I need to set? Is this settings usefull in this case?
