I have an x tool D1, g code and I am running the latest version of light burn. I’m having these weird lines show up when I am etching tumblers and I am wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I have cleaned my laser, I have recalibrated, I have tried various speed settings…

I just found some posts about firmware so I’m going to try updating that right now
I may be too late, but this is recommended only as a last resort. Along with the machine settings, uploading the LBRN2 file may help.
Did you get a lbdev file for your machine?
Well… We already did the update before I saw your comment and are running a test tumbler now. Why is the update only recommended as a last resort?
Because it wipes out all the settings you changed after you got the machine. It can also wipe out the factory parameter settings if the file is not supplied by the manufacturer,
Let us know how this turns out. If it works, it can be a solution for others having the same machine as yours.
