Dragging between letters or images

I am having issues with lettering or images burning and the laser not completing the letter or design, cutting off in areas. I have a 10watt laser using a Genmitsu 4040 Pro, brand new. I checked the GRBL settings all all seems ok, but I am fairly new to laser CNC. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

From your image, I see 2 things

1. Make sure GRBL parameter $32=1. It appears the laser is not turning off during rapid moves.
2. The “A” looks like the path was partially traced twice. Make sure there are no duplicate (or doubling of) lines for your letters. Zoom way in to check.
