Dual Tube confusion

Hi..
I am using 2.0.04 and I am getting some confusion re which tube is active.
For example.. I have color C03 set for the second tube..

And yet on the Cuts/Layer screen..

Which is incorrect because I have to select laser 2 again.
Am I doing something wrong as the manual does not mention this ‘Enable’ setting..

Neither screens are synced with each other.. which means some pretty serious mistake can happen on a job.. Lost time and imporantly materials!!
I am sometimes entrusted with irreplacable sections of tree’s etc so I cannot ‘nip down to the hardware store’ and ask for another 100 year old section of hardwood.

Many thanks..
Dave.

I apologize for my ignorance, but my experience with CO2 is 0.
But shouldn’t “enable” be selected?

There is nothing in the manual about this Enabled.. That’s why I am asking.

Enable Laser 2? We already do that with the Laser 2 slide, and double clicking the color also brings up the select Laser 2…

The Enabled switch is for dual source lasers that run both heads in a mirrored configuration: Dual Laser Control - LightBurn Documentation

If you never run both lasers at the same time, you should turn on the Only One Laser Enabled at a Time setting

I’ve asked a clarifying question internally about that enabled switch, because I’d wager it does essentially the same thing as the layer Output enable/disable slider. Personally, I haven’t used dual source in LightBurn as I lack the hardware locally.

Right.. I did turn off the ‘both lasers’ in the device set-up:)

So I just ignore the ‘Enable’ switch.

Many many thanks.

Dave
