DXF Export Glitch. Bug?

I seem to be having a strange issue with dxf export.
I imported an image and traced it. It works as svg export but with dxf export I lose a part of the image (the centre of the a).

You can (try to) replicate this by importing the attached svg and exporting as dxf.

If you re import the dxf to Lightburn you’ll notice the middle of the a is missing?
Or it will work fine and the problem is specific to my set up!

Anyone know what is going on here?

Thanks!

I can reproduce your results.

Not certain what’s going on but there’s something about the inner circle of the ‘a’ that’s throwing things off.

Try this:

  1. select ‘a’ or inner loop of ‘a’
  2. Arrange->Break apart
  3. select all shapes that were broken apart
  4. Edit->Auto-join selected shapes

That should resolve the ability to export.

That’s great.
Still don’t know what was going on but now I don’t have to worry about it!!
Thank You.
