How to engrave dxf file?

Hi I new for lightburn . Anyone can help me, how to engrave dxf file?

I need to engrave only the lines.

But when select the scan mode it’s engraving all blank area.

Please help me.

You need to have the layer set to ‘Line’ to have LightBurn burn the paths of your shapes and not ‘Fill’ the shapes of that design. Is that what you are asking?
