Edge Roll feature planned?

Is there any plan to add an Edge Roll tool, similar to the one in the eCut plugin for CorelDRAW?
Something that automatically creates the return strip, adds the bend notches and marks left/right turns for channel letters and sign boxes. Just wondering if it’s on the roadmap or if there’s already some workaround.
Thanks!

Can you share more information. Pictures, screen shots or captures. I have never heard of this feature before.

I’ve never heard of this name before, but one of my personal wishlist items is a “Letter Box Maker” which would produce very similar results. I had planned to make it do kerf-cuts for the corners (in LightBurn), but it would be easier to make it do pocket segments like the video above shows.

That is a really  feature of that plugin. Many applications run through my head on how a generator like that could be used.

Thanks for the quick replies! :slightly_smiling_face:

Yeah, exactly the video Colin posted – that’s precisely the Edge Roll feature from eCut.
It would make creating 3D signs so much easier, especially when working with aluminium composite panels. Right now I’m using LightBurn mostly for cutting wood and acrylic, but this kind of tool would be perfect for the CNC router I’m planning to get running soon. When I saw you guys released MillMage, this exact feature immediately came to mind and it actually motivated me to speed up setting up the CNC
If something like that could make it into MillMage someday, it would be a game-changer for sign makers.
No pressure though, just wanted to say it’s high on my personal wishlist!

Interesting! It is that form across the bottom, that constitutes the riser, that is the magic.
