I am trying to create/buy software that would my employees to 1.) select a size 2.) Auto-Center and Auto-Size the text 3.) View and confirm on preview screen how the markings will look 4.) send the job to the Fiber Laser using the LightBurn software with pre defined settings. Is there something out there that can do this. I really don’t want my employees being able to access LightBurn and messing with the settings. I want an easy to use (dummy proof) front end software for any one to use. Is there such a thing or am I dreaming?
You might want to look into Cuttle. It is a parametric program that is now integrated into Lightburn under Web Tools>Cuttle.
Your employees would still have to use LB to automatically open the Cuttle file in LB

The new template file type makes it possible to save an example job with all settings. The employee would open the template, modify the existing example text and save the job - but it won’t overwrite the template - they will always be prompted to save the job under a new name.
Furthermore, if the templated cut settings are linked from a material library, they are harder to change unless you intentionally “unlink” them.
Text autocenter and size might be harder, but if you hold down Ctrl/Cmd as you resize the text selection using the corner handle it will stay centered while changing size, and preset guidelines or alignment-helping graphics on T1 & T2 layers (which can be locked) may also help.
