Searching for DIY engraving of Apple’s airtags I find very few related videos on YT amongst tons of laser stuff and they are more or less useless for gaining any info. And no info at all in the Creality forums or even here. Can’t imagine that there is no interest. Am I missing something? Is it completly impossible (with a diode laser)?
Any thoughts?
If we do not have these, we have no idea what material you are truing to engrave. Can’t answer your diode question without knowing this.
Despite an intensive search I couldn’t find an answer. AirPods are most likely made of ABS. Therefore I think that Apple is using the same type of plastic for the AirTags …
Just be aware some plastics emit nasty stuff when burned.
White is not a good color for diose lasers. It reflects the laser beam rather than absorbing it.
