I have a template/jig and the files are saved in light burn. They line up perfectly when engraving. My template is set in the same exact spot on bed every time. I am using absolute coordinate positioning. My PROBLEM… When I save my file and return to it, is now off center to my physical template. I then take hours to realign the files and did so many test engravings to ensure proper alignment. To, once again, save the file and close out. Reopen and it’s no longer aligned correctly with my jig. I am about to lose my mind. My engraver is Boss LS1420.
Use ‘save position/get position’ in the move panel to set up your predefined origins.
Use ‘user origin’ and ‘use selection origin’ as your coordinate system.
