I recently got the Omtech Polar Lite, I previously had an xtool diode and used xtool creative space so I’m still fairly new to Lightburn and I’m having a couple of issues.
We’ve had the polar for a few weeks now and for the most part the laser and Lightburn have been working as expected. As of last week, autofocus and the home button quit working. After talking to omtech customer service, we downloaded RDWorks to see if it was a laser issue or Lightburn issue - autofocus worked just fine in RDWorks but still doesn’t work at all in Lightburn and I’m unsure how to fix that. Lightburn customer service hasn’t gotten back to me.
Second issue started today. My dad has been trying to cut and engrave a file he’s done plenty of times. It worked perfectly two times today, and now while engraving, it stops half way through in the same spot every time. He tried it in RDWorks and it engrave and cut the whole thing no problem. The engrave settings were off, but it still got the job done. RDWorks isn’t as intuitive as Lightburn and we’re trying to avoid learning yet another program and really want Lightburn to work after paying $200 for our license.
Any ideas on how to fix these issues?
