I just set up my new ORTUR 20W. I am going to be using it for writing on different thicknesses of wood. Is there a simpler way to raise and lower the laser or will i have to unscrew it and readjust every time i am changing through stock?
I made an adjustable bed for mine so I set the focus for the bottom of the 2020 extrusion frame. Alternatively you could set your focus for the height of the surface the laser frame sits on and just shim the feet of the laser with the same material you are doing your cut on.
