Error 1000 - waiting for download

Hello,

I bought the Sculpfun S10 in July and have been using it with the Lightburn software without any problems.
Yesterday, however, while lasering an image in the middle of the run, it produced an error 1000 and stopped without any further message.

It no longer reacted to the start point, frame dragging…

Now when I switch it on, the message comes up:

This is a common error happening at S10 mainboards. First, you can try to re-flash the firmware. The procedure is descibed here: Firmware Update & Settings - Diode Laser Wiki (bottom of the page, the S10 version, S9 is different). If this is failing, the only option is to replace the board. Sculpfun does replace the boards, usually within a few days. Write to support@sculpfun3d.com with a screenshot of the console output.

This is the second one of these I’ve seen today. Another user was successful with the firmware reflashing procedure.

I have tried everything: unfortunately, it seems that my motherboard is really defective. Thanks anyway.

Just a side not: what do you mean by “seller”? The shops where you buy the lasers are usually not caring about anything. But write directly to Sculpfun, they handle it immediately.

Funny, unfortunately Sculpfun still haven’t answered, even though I’ve already written to them twice.
What else can I do?

Make sure that you wrote to support@sculpfun3d.com (notice the 3d), otherwise it won’t reach them. And they have kind of Chinese holidays right now if I understood correctly. So until mid of next week they might not react.
Additionally you can visit the official Sculpfun user group at Facebook, they have support people in there as well.
