Error 25 G-Code word was repeated

Hi,

What can I do when the laser stops cutting and the Lightburn console says, “A G-Code word was repeated in the block, On or near line 10”?

Ok,

No worries. I sorted it out

It will be helpful for the next person with that problem if you tell us what you did to solve it.

Please?

Hi

Sorry for only getting back to you now.

Some explaining:

  1. Bought Comgrow Z1 and Lightburn -

  2. Lightburn recognizes it as “Com 3” - also as “GRBL-LPC” -

  3. Bought Creality Falcon 2 40w -

  4. Lightburn recognizes it as “Com 5” -

  5. I struggle to get it to work -

  6. Use the usb provided by Creality -

  7. Lightburn recognizes it as “Falcon 2” -

  8. I struggle to get it to work accurately as the timing was completely out and the speed not even closed to what it is supposed to be. Lightburn support helped me get the correct settings as it doesn’t auto download from the usb.

  9. Start cutting - Machine stops 1 sec after starting - Error 25 -

  10. I rechecked all the settings, then posted here on Lightburn, when I noticed a similar post of a long time ago.

  11. I then saved my settings and went through previous “machines” recognizes by Lightburn, from GRBL LPC, Com 3 and then when I got to “Com 5” I no longer got the Error 25 message, and the machine runs as it’s supposed to. The estimated timing is also close to accurate - about 3 seconds out, but that’s not to worry about.

Hope this helps for future issues.

Seems like another one of those confused USB gotchas due to all the different ways the ports can show up. They’re difficult to describe and impossible to diagnose, because the names keep squirming around.

Thanks!
