J’utilise Lightburn version 1.7.04 et un laser sculpfun S30 5 watts (sans fin de course)
L’opération de cadrage de la pièce se fait normalement.
Par contre en cliquant sur démarrer le laser se déplace seulement sur 1 mm, le ventilateur et le témoin rouge s’éteignent 1 seconde, et la machine semble normale, par contre toujours pas de déplacement de la tête. En déplacement manuel la tête se déplace normalement.
Comment faire ?

For the move issue it seems not related, post your project .lbrn2 file and .gc file.

Why? The S30 comes with limit switches. That allows you to use Absolute Coords in the Laser window. The benefits are repeatability and predictability in positioning.

Many thanks for your answer. In fact with my S30 there is no limit switch. Nevetheless in the past few months the machine did a good job. Anyway, Would it be a good decision to add limit switch (it doesn’t cost a lot)

I thought limit switches were included standard on the S30. Maybe @misken can provide an answer.
In the meantime, can you move the laser head to the front left corner? Then take a picture of it and post it in a reply.
Yes, limit switches are a definate benefit.
Yes, the S30s all have limit switches delivered with them. But you need to attach them to use them
