I updated your original account to a higher trust level so you may be able to post with that one again.

Let’s try one more thing. Run in Console please:

$23=1
$H

Is homing now correct?

Please check jogging.

no homing still didnt work will jump over to other account

Where does it attempt to home to now?

hard into the front left

You’re saying that $23=3 vs $23=1 doesn’t change the direction of homing? I wonder if this is a Snapmaker peculiarity.

it seems that way. just tried $23=0 pushes hard forward and moves to the right. if that helps

Take a careful look at the cable ends for the Y-axis on both the stepper motor side and the controller side. Is it possible that the ends have been inserted rotated 180 degrees?

So it does attempt to change? Forward in this case is what? Downward?

Let’s try to collect some data.

Let’s get homing working again first. Please run in Console:

$3=2
$23=1
$H
?
G0 X10Y10

Please return full output. Also, describe the motion of the machine with the last command.

is it moved forward/down and to the right.

G-code motion target exceeds machine travel. Machine position safely retained. Alarm may be unlocked. (Right-click the ‘Devices’ button to reset the connection)

its moved back to homing location and freaked out.

as for this that can only be pluged in one way.

Did you create this work offset and switch to reporting in Work Position?

I can’t imagine this is necessary. Let’s remove it.

this looks deffernt to before all 0’s before g54 had 600 and -400 in it

homing works. and x axis works y axis is still freaking out

Okay. I’m now convinced that either Snapmaker have deliberately prohibited certain changes or you have a firmware corruption.

You mentioned updating to the latest firmware but I’m noticing that you’re on a release from September. Can you try flashing the latest firmware from this page? Looks like they have a 1.6.8 at the bottom of the first page.

Snapmaker Ray Firmware Updates and Downloads - Snapmaker Ray - Snapmaker: where creation happens

While you are at it, can you delete the current device in LightBurn and use the .lbdev file from here to create a new device?

Using Ray / Artisan / 2.0 with LightBurn | Snapmaker Wiki

yes i was on the latest and someone had said to try rolling back so i did. and i will do that’s the same link and file i used to create the device but i will give it another go.

That’s odd because your origin should be at bottom-left then but it shows as top-left.

Once you get back up and running can you please run these commands and return output please:
