I didn’t find an answer to this but found people digging around with MQTT requests. Does LB have the capability to execute a shell script at the time of starting or stopping a job?
It would allow for things like starting/stopping smart switch/relays for those that don’t have air assistance baked in. It would also allow for notifications to be fired out. Or other data recorded to HASS servers for data hoarders–er users.
edit: I did just see [EASY] External Script on Event · LightBurn which is pretty close and inclusive. Looks like they would like a lot more access but based on LB Engineering it looks like it’d be difficult with buffering. However, the start/stop/pause seems feasible which is all I was really after.
