Any assistance or guidance is appreciated. I am having issues w/ lens correction on the new lens bought last week (200x200, F290).
I cannot get it calibrated correctly to scale for different sizes on the specified field size is dialed in. Every measurement short of 200mm is short by up to 2mm, depending on how small the drawn square is - example: 100mm is 2mm short.
I’ve tried calibrating in Lightburn and EZCAD using the respective calibration wizards. I went so far as to calibrate the lens by hand (trap, skew, bulge etc) finishing up w/ the axis calibration in Lightburn to dial in expected size vs drawn size. In the end the drawn sizes are incorrect the smaller the shape.
Is there anything about larger F-theta lens’ that I am no taking into consideration? Is it possible the lens is flawed?
