FA 10W Optical laser only etching negative

I’ve been attempting to etch a photo image on wood. I’ve done it before, however, that was a 5 w laser. No matter what I do the image etches negative, faces are dark and blacks are white/light. I’ve trying to use the negative toggle switch in properties but there is no change. I’ve tried etching the same image with a positive and negative version at the same time. I’ve changed power, speed etc. but the faces always come out dark. I’m in Jarvis mode. I’ve tried everything I can think of. Looking for thoughts or suggestions. As I said I’ve etched images before but not this particular picture.2025-01-10T05:00:00Z

The first and last images are the same but with different speed and power. The middle one is a negative image.

Maybe you have something set in the C00.
Place your images in another Layer and test again.
