I am new, I have an Ortur M3 and when I try to engrave words it comes out very faint, I have slowed the rate down and speed it up . ANy Ideas
Assuming your configurations are correct you really only have 2 controls that affect the burn, speed and power. If you want a stronger burn then increase power or further decrease speed.
I tried that power 100 and speed 300
What are the units?
And have you tried going slower?

On what material?
If you’re engraving white or blue material, or metal, or any type of transparent acrylic, be prepared for disappointment…
Yes if it is 300 mm/m that is slow if it is mm/s it is zooming.
additionally might have to check other settings that could reduce power etc. but I’m thinking it might be a focus issue. the little guide my laser came with was like 1/4 off of what I got when i did a ramp test.
also is this wood? or something else that might be the issue too.
