Hi @ant1952 there are tools in Lightburn known as Array Tools (highlighted in red).

Thanks for that. doesn’t help sadly. My issue is that I want to place the cutout/indent at precisely 30mm from the bottom and then another one at 175mm and 332mm from the bottom

Could you maybe manually scribble what you need as a drawing?

From your description i am not able to see how arrays wouldn’t work for you.
Possibly missing something

Might be my misunderstanding of an array and the tutorial video. Let me ask another question then. How can i place multiple boxes at precise positions on the LightBurn Workspace?

Two different things

Array will allow you to position Copies of a given shape at specified distances from eachother on X and Y

If you need each shape to be at a Exact X and Y coordinate, then you are correct array wont help much.

You can use the array to create the objects, but then you will have to manually position their origin on your given coordinates.

Okay thank you, I’ll keep looking
