When creating the tool library, the feeds and speeds are defined for a tool and not for a material type. Short of entering the same tool multiple times for each material type, is there a way to define multiple feeds for a tool based on the material?
Add a duplicate example of the endmill and name them correctly. Click on the ‘copy’ button to do this. Works well.

Chip load is not dependent on the material, it depends on the RPM and depth of cut. Before you go all ballistic, the proper amount of chip load does depend on the material.
As @fourpaw indicates, you will need a different “tool” for each material. Think of the “Tool” as something specific to the job (material). You are trying to make the material specific to the Tool.
