I’m attempting to use Lightburn and am finding it incredibly frustrating, I’ve been trying to set the original to the bottom left hand corner but for some reasons the software puts it somewhere else completely? Does it get any better because I’m almost at the end of my tether with this software.
It’s not the software in this case, but the controller itself. I’m assuming that your machine doesn’t have limit or homing switches, which will mean that the origin is wherever the machine is when you power it up, until you give it a new one.
Setting the origin location in LightBurn is just telling it where the origin is on the controller, so they match.
Near the bottom of this post is a paragraph called ‘Homing and Workspace’ - read through at least that paragraph - it should help:
