Fill when engraving large letters

Dumb question! When engraving lettering like this will Laser engrave/fill the letter inside the lines when I have “FILL” designated.

You could do a preview or enable the view options

or toggle on the fly with Alt + Shift + A.

Preview it and you’ll see the fills - Alt+P, or right-click and choose preview, or click the “tv monitor” button on the main toolbar.

LightBurn was designed to be used in “wire outline” mode like this because it makes it much easier to understand what’s happening when working with boolean tools, multiple layers, nodes, groups, and selections.

We don’t recommend using Filled Rendering mode for anything other than spot checking your work, because it hides things and makes certain features much harder to use and learn.

I don’t even remember what “ALT” is on a Mac

Do I want to Wireframe Smooth or Filled Smooth?
I want the Fill to be as smooth as possible. I am not concerned about the time element.

Wireframe smooth. It´s the better option I forgot to say to switch back.
The advantage of forums is that there is always someone there to add/correct information.

The “command” key

The “Command” key is the equivalent of “Ctrl” on the PC.
The “Option” key is equivalent to “Alt” on the PC.

Gak, what was I thinking!
