could someone share the firmware with the config file to use it on a skr card. i am currently testing a firmware i found on the net. It works fine but I have problems with raster images, I can’t go more than 100mm / sec.
That’s Smoothieware - It has a lot of processing overhead, and maxes out around 1000 gcode instructions per second. Using the ‘Newsprint’ dither mode helps, as it clusters the shading in a way that reduces the amount of code sent to the machine. You might also be able to use GRBL-LPC firmware, which will run quite a bit faster.
I read that grbl-lpc is not compatible with the skr card.
The skr board wont work with grbl=lpc but the mks sbase board will work.
