Font Not Accurate

I downloaded this small cap Times Font, as it matches the Font Used on an existing perpetual plaque that needs some names added. For some reason, the font does not display correctly in Lightburn. Is there a setting or something I am missing?

Here is the link to the font if someone wants to test it… Times Small Caps & Old Style Fi Bold : Download For Free, View Sample Text, Rating And More On Fontsgeek.Com

Attached is an image of what it looks like in Affinity Designer (which is what I expected based on the online preview) compared to what it looks like in Lightburn. It should be all upper case, with CAPS just larger upper case.

I’m able to replicate the issue. I believe it is because of the non standard style name. Lightburn doesn’t recognize it. In Affinity the only style option is “Bold Small Caps & Old Style Figures”. I tried it in Pages and have multiple style options available, but the only one that gives the small caps effect is the Bold Small Caps… style. See screenshot below.

If you require this specific font style you should create it in Affinity and export as svg with “Export text as curves” selected, then import that into Lightburn. You can then scale as necessary, but you will not be able to change the text in Lightburn. To make any changes you will need to recreate in Affinity.

It seems to work for me:

You’re Windows. Larry and I are Mac.

Ah yes, I should’ve noticed that. It shouldn’t make any difference of course but it looks like it could be the reason for the anomaly.
