Foxalient XE Pro 40W Foxalien laser - Help Needed

Hi newbie here, I have some set up issues going on. I have a Foxalien XE Pro 400x400. I have the Foxalien 40W laser.

Currently the laser is parked in the front right.
I’ve tried changing $3 and $23 but with no success in getting X Y to move correctly or home in on a photo.
When I go to move my laser X Y, right or back or left and forward, it is going in the opposite direction.
When I add an image, there is no green dot to be seen it goes off to lala land and locks up.

If anyone can assist in getting me set up I would be forever grateful.

Here are snippets of my system.

You show the Home position as the front-left corner.

Do these in the order listed:

  1. Enter G10 L2 P1 X0 Y0 Z0 In the Console window. This will remove the G54 offset you have.
  2. Make sure Home is functioning properly (see attached text file). If the travel direction is wrong, it is easiest to correct it in the Machine Settings window.
  3. Make sure the Jog directions are correct. Again the Machine Settings window.
  4. If #2 and #3 are not right, nothing else will be.
  5. Select Absolute Coords in the Laser window.

Now try to set up a project and see if it will Frame. Report back what happens, good or bad.

Thank you so much for your help. I very much appreciate you and your time.

:waving_hand:
I’m able to print and the only issue I seem to have now is when I am done with the job and it jogs back to position it hits the X limit switch it just stops and stays right there.
However, if that is ALL it does I can easily $X and $H and all is right in the world  Again, thank you so much!!!

If you have a Saved Finish Position (Laser window), maybe you can move the X position more towards the center of the table. I may be way off base with this considering your setup.
