Not at machine, so I will use the WAG method using Lightburn thinking. If there is a Tool layer (T1 or T2), turn the output off.
i’ve never had to turn layers off with lightburn, to frame highlighted items only . with multiple items in cut area, i do it all the
and why would it frame something with no tool paths

Without seeing your settings, an answer would only be a guess. Can you uploade your .mage file (preferred), or provide screen snapshots of your settings?
prob pointless uploading mage file as its been altered so many times
i do initial file than just keep importing similar files into job
eg: end up with 1 file containing birds instead of say 10 separate files
will be at machine later , can send screenshot of setting thaan

Just a suggestion, save a copy of the file that you used to generate the images you are posting. It will make troubleshooting much easier.

I had the same thing happen to me. I had two images. Only one had an operation set for it. When I tried framing, MillMage frames both images. The preview only showed the one with an operation.

Came to ask a similar question: I often have several different items on a long board. I need the ability to preview one at a time. As of now, it just zooms in the whole board even if the output is turned off for the other items. A zoom To mouse location would be great!
Thats already how zoom works. I would be curious to see how its different for you.
