Framing,Cutting or Burning is drifting alone the Y axis

Using a 5w Sainsmart Diode.

Connect, machine jogs to a zero zero Home position, no problems. Draw a test square in Lightburn, pin/snap the corner of the square to the X&Y zero. I’m in Absolute Coordinates, select Frame. Frames right on the money and returns to a position approx 1- 2mm away from the first Home position, in the Y axis. Position is reading zero/zero.

Click frame and it starts from this new position and ends approx 1-2mm up the Y axis, position says zero/zero.

So, I selected my Line and burned squares 7 or 8 times in a row. OMG what is happening to me. The burn is shifting over and over up the Y axis. After about 7 or 8 times is stops drifting and burns in the same spot. Get Positions still reads zero, zero.

Easy quick fix, yes?

Probably an easy fix. Go thru all your couplers motor to shaft pullies and belts and make sure belts are tensioned and set screws are tight.

Tnx I did, and just went back to check belts and any pulley play.

Turned on, homed normal. Right back to shifting, this time about .5mm with each Start and burn cycle. Position still reads zero, zero.

I’m dead in the water to position and burn multiple items with any accuracy.

If I select Current Position, it burns in the same path every time.

Switch back to Absolute Coord. , move the object in my workspace a few mm and back to burning the object, but each pass is couple mm north on the Y.
