Very new user. Noticed for some reason when I request to return to Origin laser moves but makes grinding noise as if unhappy.
Secondly I burnt some work then loaded up another design. Despite where I placed on the worksheet the Laser ignored this. What am I doing wrong please.

Does your laser have limit switches? Otherwise you can’t use the homing function / origin.
Use Absolute Coords if you want predictability, and add limit switches if you want repeatability.
