Are these the results without rotary enabled or with rotary enabled?
I can’t tell from your results but it looks like you’re saying things work fine with Absolute Coords set, is that correct?
When working with Current Position, are you ever moving the laser head by hand? Meaning not using jogging controls? If so, that’s the likely reason this is not working. After homing, only use jogging controls exclusively to move the laser head. Then you’ll need to make sure that there is enough room on the bed to accommodate the shape you’re trying to frame based on the job origin position.
This is why the laser believes you’re going out of bounds. The movements you make by hand are not tracked by the controller and so the physical location of the laser is different than the perceived location in the controller. You could potentially disable any such constraints around that but I’d advise against it.
Job origin doesn’t apply to Absolute Coords so any previously selected job position doesn’t affect motion.
Because job origin is on the middle of the left portion, the laser would need to move below the current home position. Since that’s impossible without crashing it’s raising the error.
Thank you very much. I usually use Abs Coord but was trying out Current Position to start engraving my tumbler from the left-center of the design and center it better. I will use the joggers so I don’t get the thing confused anymore.
