G54 Issue in MillMage

Had issues with machine not Homing correctly in MillMage. I do not have the same problem with LightBurn. When sending a Home command from MillMage, the Y-axis gantries do not stop properly. One will stop when it hits the safety switch, yet the second keeps moving. I found the issue to be related to G54. My machine showed an offset that was not clearing when I restarted the machine. I did not have the Homing problem when my laptop was disconnected or MillMage was closed, so the issue was software related. Then I noticed that G54 was not zero although the machine was zeroed. I forced G54 to zero and was able to properly home the machine.

I only experience this issue with MillMage, not Lightburn.

Running NymoLabs NBX-5040, MillMage Core 0.8.00-RC-19 @ de27901 Qt6.5.7., LightBurn Core 2.0.05

G54 is a permanent setting. It will not be cleared by a reboot. That’s expected behavior.

Your machine should not home to G54.

G54 are work coordinates, and should be independent of homing,
