Gcode for spindle

Genmitsu 4040 pro max, 710w spindle. I have the spindle and vacuum connected to a imatic relay. Everything worked the last time I used it a week ago. This time while processing a job, the spindle and vacuum did not come on. All wiring is correct. The spindle and vacuum work independently of the relay box. I think I have to put a value in gcode. Am I correct?

CW, CCW, and Off

Or did you wire it for air control. Kind of hard to guess while not knowing how you wired those parts together.

I have an Imatic relay box with the spindle and vacuum plugged into that.

What do I do here?

We need to see first if MillMage is outputting spindle commands. Create a small rectangle profile and set up everything including tooling. Now do a save GCode to a text file. Then attach that .nc file to your Reply.

I will be away for a bit, so another member may jump in with comments about your issue.

To rule out the simple stuff is the red power switch on the back of the iMaticBox turned on, the outlet it’s plugged into powered and both ends of the cord connected, and the enable button lit up? Is the proper cable installed from the box on the 4040’s gantry to the iBox, and are both ends securely connected? Since it worked before I’m guessing that you have the proper “A” labeled cable.

For those who don’t have Sainsmart gadgets their iMaticBox AC switcher uses the machines laser port’s PWM signal to turn mains power off and on and has two outlets that are often used for a trim router and optional vacuum. While it has a mechanical relay it includes onboard logic to detect any PWM input, not just full on, as an on signal for the relay. The output is full on or full off, not an attempt to PWM a mechanical relay. Laser mode, of course, doesn’t work with it since the iBox will try and follow the constantly switching on and off PWM signal as the laser is fired or not, so $32 needs to be 0

I sort of understand. But don’t know where I’m supposed to put that info. Also the toggles to the right (cut off by wonderful iPhone) I assume need to be on. But waiting for specific instruction.

The command is there,

I do not think it is a “put”, but more of a “hook it up” thing. It appears @kyarina has one of these, so I am going to step aside and observe.

I figured it out. It’s always the little things. Thanks to all for your help.
