I have a large CSV of nametags which include some German Umlauts (ü, ö, etc) which when brought in as variable text are converted to “Ã1/4”. I’ve switched to multiple fonts (including Times New Roman and other system fonts) which include the proper Umlaut glyphs, but the issue seems to persist with all font families.
Of course, when I simply type the word (without variable text) using the Text Tool within Lightburn, the Umlauts appear as expected across all supported font families.
Is this a known Issue when it comes to Umlauts & Variable Text? Hoping someone can help clarify -
