I have a issue with a project I am trying to burn. I am using 3.815 mm thick plywood so when I cut it out every place I need to connect is to big. I measured the slots on design and have 4.99 x 4.816 so it fits real sloppy. I tried to scale it to that size but made other spots to small or won’t fit. I tried the resize tool but keep getting massage that can’t resize because project has open slots.
Slots in designs from The InterWebs generally require both automatic and manual intervention to make them suitable for LightBurn’s Resize Slots tool. I crawled through that process a while ago and my writeup may help explain what’s going on:
Basically, applying the Optimize Selected Shapes tool can push the design closer to what the Resize Slots tool needs, mostly by getting rid of superfluous nodes near the slot corners, but manual intervention will probably be needed.
