We have hundreds of design files which we use for engraving on the same materials. All of our design files use the same layer for engraving (the blue layer). We would like to make a change to the power setting, but it seems to require opening every one of the hundreds of design files to make the change. Is there a way to make the layer settings global so that they aren’t saved with every file?
There isn’t a way to do this at this time, no. We’ve contemplated adding a flag to the cut settings to make them auto-sync with a library entry if present, so you’d be able to alter that library setting and have it update all the files that use it, but that’s not implemented yet.
