Good afternoon, someone please help me… my xtool D1 only moves sideways and doesn’t move forward 
If it is free to move by hand with the power off, check the Yaxis motor coupling set (grub) screws.
If possible unplug then plug back in the Y motor… hope it’s a flaky connection.
Are you using a wireless connection? If so maybe try a wired one . I had trouble with an intermittent wireless connection it drove me crazy until I figured it out. Hope that helps.
