GWEIKE Cloud Pro + Lightburn = Layer has no output

Issue: Gweike cloud pro laser not burning on any setting.

Story:
My Gweike Cloud Pro was working just fine until one layer did not output. After troubleshooting I went from trying new SVGs to basic in LB shapes. Turned power up to 100 on 2mm cardboard, basically only a scratch.

Hours of troubleshooting led to do a full reset and setup of the machine. Completed camera lens alignment, then onto camera alignment. Still cannot even burn the alignment shapes. Starts out extremely weak, then onto nothing of a burn. Again, working true default settings. First setup resulted in no issues.

Z axis is not enabled by default - did not use it during initial set up.
No errors during burn. Frame works fine. Both gantry switches are matching.
Was using rotary no problem, then burned one project on plate prior to issue.
Plugged machine into Gweike Cloud and ran project on material supplied. Barely was able to even outline when it should have cut out a shape.

Looking for LB options to try and understand if user issue or machine issue.

Hi Jason, what happens if you try to run a job using the Gwieke software? Still low power?

Before you re-load/restart everything… Start at the beginning and follow it until you lose the signal.

If you have these three it will work…

  1. properly operating tube
  2. optics aligned and clean
  3. focus

In this case, check for TEM0 state coming from the tube before it strikes m1 (mirror 1).

Then follow the alignment procedure from there out. Some where you will lose the beam (signal)…

Good luck

Starts out low power, then no power. Gweike customer support suggested running a light path alignment. I have jostled it a bit by accident a few times, so I suppose that’s a possibility.

Cleaned lenses thoroughly, same issues. By “optics aligned and clean”, I assume this would be checked by running what Gweike called light path alignment. I will work that this week. Focus is another hurdle for me, I am unsure how to focus the device other than using the Z axis. There is a way to lower the lens, but I think it is primarily for cleaning, not focusing.

Will report back after light path alignment test.

Can you access an area between the end of the tube and mirror 1 (m1)?

I don’t know how your machine is put together so I can’t offer much in the way of solutions.

Maybe a few pictures…?

Looks like my CO2 tube…died?..tested it with safety features off per the tech support. No light, just air. They are sending me a new machine.
