Has anyone tried titanium dioxide?

I found this on youtube. It looked easier than paint so I tried it out. My results were inconsistent. I couldn’t seem to get an even coating but on the ones I did coat well they came out really good. Also is titanium dioxide safe? Some places say no and others say yes.

Stop using paint on ceramic tiles.

Well, after 2 solid days or working with and tweaking Ron’s method I got frustrated. This morning I put on my thinking cap (took hours to find it. Life is more fun without it) and came up with a new method. I would like to get @JohnJohn to decide if this should be a new topic or continue with this one. New tile engraving method

I have over the last few months been trying the Norton Tile engraving method and many others that I have seen on YouTube. To date I have not been able to get very good results. So not being one to give up I started experimenting and after many attempts have finally got to doing it this way. It’s also a very cheap method and totally safe. First I mix 100ml of PVA wood glue to 300ml of water. Add 3 heaped teaspoons of titanium dioxide and mix well. I then transfer this solution to a spray bottle.…
