Whenever I turn off my machine or want to start a new project, I have to close LB and reopen
Why do you have to do this? What’s preventing you from continuing on?
I have no idea, that is why I made the post, not trying to sound rude
Are you leaving LightBurn open and just putting your computer in sleep mode or something?
MacOs?
This is a known thing but i think theres already a Patch
What happens if you don’t do this is what I’m asking? What problem are you solving for?
if I dont do it then the software and the machine won’t interact…says it busy and won’t start the job
But nothing is moving on the machine
Make sure that the correct serial port is configured in Laser window. Also try right-clicking the “Devices” button to force a reconnect.
If neither of these work, please take a screenshot of what you’re seeing.
I’m having the same problem Lightburn is not connecting with my laser “disconnected” is the message I’m getting no matter how many time i uninstall and then reinstall. When I do get it to connect, I make sure that I shut down both laser and laptop when I am finished my project. I’ve gone into Devices and tried to connect there but it not even finding my machine now. Any advise would be greatly appreciated
