That second one was me being defensive. Guilty!
I do see how my typed messages can sound rougher that I intend, so I am sorry.
As I mentioned in a post above, I’m try out ednisley’s suggested configuration and that it is working well. I just have to get ok with working in absolute coordinates. This does accomplish my goal of only having to set the material thickness.

No need for an apology. This forum is for learning, and that is what is happening here. I read every posting, even if it is not about a 5w diode table-top machine. You never know what you can learn from others. Also glad you are willing to adapt. Hopefully it will make your projects easier!
