I used a white tile with krylon gloss green, then rust-oleum gloss black. Using the gimp and da big gimp that the youtuber showed as well.

I see. So is the process one of coating the tile first? Does the laser produce much in the way of fumes when it burns through the paint?

coat the tile first, the laser burns off part of the black, which then leaves the green. So the face lines etc… are still black. It does put off some fumes, I actually had to set it outside because I don’t have the means to draw them out.
