Hello Sunshine Wall Hanging

Another design I moved over from my CNC to Lightburn. Probably should have painted the background white but other than that im pretty happy with it. Run the file as is to do the design layout. Then turn off the red cut layer and change the black layer power and speeds to cut out the parts. Maybe next time do all the text in yellow. A work in progress

I made it.

Instead of relief, I did cutouts with painted backing plates.

That works. Looks good

Wouldnt the cutouts be nice filled with appropriate colour resin. If applied really carefully it might just stand above the surrounding surface for a little pop & shine…if resin is reflective that is.

Here’s a similar one for Christmas. Base is 1/4 Baltic Birch Plywood, Cut parts from 1/8 Baltic Birch Plywood. Use DAP Rapid Fuse Super Glue to glue parts on. Great stuff. Sets in 30 seconds. Would have liked a little larger bow but nothing available on line or in stores right now.

Great color mix in that one. I used to hand tie 500 wreaths 10", 3 bow’s… and tails at bottom of the wreath with painted cones from forestry etc, ended up self tieing the bows to save on cost and often not in stock at wholesalers. You can buy roll’s of ribbon of any size you want…just about. Proper tied bows took a bit of time so I made cross over loop bows, tied in centre with thin strip of ribbon or craft string.
Took about 30’ish seconds per bow.
