Help on cutting out 'inner' area

Hi!

I have really been enjoying using Lightburn but I got a little stumped today so was hoping someone can help me. I have a logo and I am trying to find a quick way to cutout an area on the inside of the logo. So on the image below, it would be the ‘sky’ area above the bridge for example here:

I have the handle on cutting out on the outside using Offset, but no idea how to get the area created on the inside when the ‘space’ is made up of multiple objects.

Many thanks
Pouria

… is that what you want to achieve?

Can you provide file?

Hi

More like this:

Yes of Course,

Here the file.
Killinkere Sample V2 (A4) .lbrn2 (415.9 KB)

Is that what you want?

In short, I am trying to cut out the area you have the sky on. The rest of the features such as the bridge will be engraved.

Because your project is a bit fancy, understood in this way that there are many “loose ends”, I have chosen to “hand trace” the area you want cut.
This design is not very laser friendly ;-), but it can be done with a little work.

Thank you Bernd

When you say hand trace, are you just using the line tool in LB?

Yes, I draw a very rough line and curve the lines according to the contour afterwards, it goes fairly easily and quickly.
