Help with laser staying on when framing

Hi there, can someone tell me why my laser beam does not stay on when I frame? I have a ortur laser master 2, I hit the test laser button and put it at lowest percent and it goes off as soon as I hit frame. I have seen recent videos on YouTube showing the beam staying on when framing with the same machine.

I use lasergrbl as well and the beam stays on when framing.
also is there a way to change the speed to mm/min? Mine is set to inches/min.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Press SHIFT as you click on frame, and it will stay on as it frames.
