Hold downs for high topics

My first education has been blacksmithing, even though it’s 45 years ago, I can still enjoy doing some basic things for home use.
These hooks are meant for something completely different but coincidentally the tip fit perfectly in my honycomb bed and holds high items in place without much pressure.

So, I use my honycomb bed again

Excellent. I see traditional woodworkers use something similar for hold-downs instead of modern clamps.

They were actually meant for that, for my new workbench. But later I got wiser and made the holes all Ø20.

Hmm… blacksmithing, woodworking, lasering… what’s next? Distilling?

… I have tried ;-), also to brew beer!

I’m also a homebrewer!

… then I’m right! People with laser machines are (by default) good people!
