New to all this so bear with me and try to dumb it all down for me. I just got a new machine as a gift. It’s a vevor A7. I wanted to try it out to see if I would eventually want something better and nicer when I got the hang of it. My problem is I set it all up and set the home to be in the left bottom corner where the limit switch is. Well it goes to the bottom right corner and starts making a terrible noise before throwing alarm 9 on the screen. I’m not sure what the deal is. I messed around with different stuff because I was new and didn’t know what to do and I got it to work by setting it to start where I specified but eventually I did something and it wanted me to return home and I ran into the problem of it going to the opposite of where I set it. Please help. Thanks guys
Okay, this is not a simple fix, but it is easy… You say switches are mounted front left (bottom) and it tries to home front right instead
In the Console window, enter $$ and copy-paste the results here. Once we have that info, we can plan the next move.
I was actually able to figure it out. Apparently even though the connectors are only supposed to go one way, if you’re not paying attention you can put it in backwards. I accidentally put x axis connector on backwards so it was doing the complete reverse of what I wanted. I flipped the connector and it went to home like it was supposed to
AAAhhhhh… I will take blind dumb lick over skill any day! Glad you got it!
