Homing Issue (particularly the Y Axis)

I have an OMTech desktop Diode 10w and haven’t had any problem with the machine homing until I upgraded lightburn software and now my machine runs fine on the x axis but seems to be having issues on the Y axis and not able to locate the 0 properly. I’ve checked everything on the machine itself including the belts, the limit switches, the wire connections and I’m STILL having problems so I bought a new machine an Atomstack desktop diode and the SAME thing is happening with it. ANY assistance would be GREATLY appreciated.

If you post the error messages in the console window, we can give you more assistance as that should give us the error codes.

If both machines have limit switches for homing, then that’s handled by the controller, not Lightburn. Lightburn send the home command and the controller carries it out.

Does it do that when powered up?

I wouldn’t think it’s from a Lightburn update. You can always download an earlier version or back where you were before an upgrade.

Did you import your machines or create them new in the devices?

Might want to give it a slow hand movement in the area it’s failing to see if it’s a mechanical issue.

Seems odd that two different machines have similar problems.
