Ender 3 with 1.6mw laser diode. custom marlin firmware.
Settings - 18mm/s, 90% power, 300dpi (overlapping on purpose)
Almost all engravings i do turn out great but lately i’ve been noticing horizontal banding. engravings look great if the lasers stops and starts multiple times during a scan line but as soon as it does large constant surfaces the engraving gets lighter.
